KARWA Campaign for Road, Security & Safety Awareness - 2012



Karwa Trainig and Development, Mowasalat organised a training session on traffic safety rules awarness for the Bhavan's Public School.30 Students and 4 teachers of Road Safety Club,BhPS, attended the traning session in the Mowsalat campus .The presentation by Mr.Saleem engaged the students and also stimulatedtheir young minds to further clarify issues with respect to road safety. Experiential demonstration was given with a roll over car and many other training instruments whicheducated all the students with theimportance of seat belt, speed and road signs during road accidents. Students had a good practical exposureabout safety on road and students also took a oath to spread the message totheir near and dear ones.

Bhavan's Hockey Academy-A mile stone of Qatar Bhavan's

Bhavan’s Public School inaugurated its Hockey Academy recently. The event was held to mark a mile stone in the field of sports. It was supported and affiliated with Qatar Hockey Federation. Mr. Mohammad Al-Enazi, the Developmental Director of Qatar Hockey Federation was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address he expressed his happiness towards Bhavans in its achievement in the field of hockey in this short span of time and he congratulated all the faculties of Bhavans for its everlasting triumph. Mr. Mohammad Abdul Nazar, General Secretary of Qatar Hockey Federation was the guest of honour; he expressed and extended all the support from the federation in this regard. In his address he told that sports is for social integration and the place for meeting people and he invited all students to be part of it. Dr. G.Manulal, the Principal ,Mr. Saleem Ponnambath, the President of Bhavans, Mr. A.O. Abdul Kadar, the vice chairman , Mr. Shaiful, the chief coach Mr. Maggid, the Developmental Coach of Qatar Hockey Federation and director board members were present on the dais. Dr. G. Manulal, the exponent also expressed his immense happiness upon the inauguration of the hockey academy. Mr. Saleem Ponnambath, the President standing upon his privilege, added the importance of sports and encouraged each and every one through his allure speech. Our chief guest Mr. Mohammad Al- Enazi inaugurated the Bhavan’s hockey academy by distributing the membership card to the students who are selected to the academy. Mr. Rajesh  the Physical Education teacher extended the vote of thanks.

PASS 2012

Summer Camp at Bhavan's Public School
                                          
    PASS 2012

Bhavan’s Cultural centre, an Indian expatriate organization, functioning under the aegis of Indian Embassy, in  coordination  with Bhavan’s Public  School , is  set to  organize  its second summer camp “PASS 2012” at  Matar Qadeem campus of the school following the success  of its first summer camp  in  2011.

 “Pass 2012” (P- Physical, A-Artistic, S-Social, S-Safety & security) will endeavor towards the mental, spiritual, emotional and physical development of the children through various infotainment activities. The Pass-2012 will be a forty days camp commencing 8th July 2012 with an exciting package of an array of stimulating activities and infotainments such as Dance, Aerobics, Yoga, Karate, communication skills, SUPW, life skills, Instrumental music, Art, indoor games, study trips, environmental awareness, public speaking, puppetry, safety and security tips and games with values of interpersonal skils etc.





The Pass 2012 is open to the students of all schools in Qatar. The curriculum is designed to cater to the children of various age groups and the camp attendees will be segregated into different age groups. Transportation will be available on request. Dates:   8/7/12 to 16/8/12 




Courses:-

Dance-western dance, Indian  folk  dance.
Aerobics and Yoga – Pranayama ,Asanas , flexibility exercises , various types of  marching.
•Karate  -All
punches, core muscle development, all  blocks, weight  training.
Personality development-, Public  speaking, Communications, life skill/ Spoken English /Social useful  and productive work.Music and keyboard- various songs, semi classical, classical, various  notes, light  music.
•Art-Pencil, strokes, water  colour, clay  modeling, collage, glass painting, still life  models.
•Entertainment games /Indoor  games -Fun  games, chess, caroms, Table tennis, Arm wrestling.
 
Other highlights:
 
Study trips,Best of Waste,Mind games,Public speaking,Disaster management,Games with values of interpersonal relationships and team spirit,Puppetry,needle work,salad  making.







 
 
Fee Structure: Qr.600 per student. For two children from same family 1100 and three children from same family 1600. Transportation will be available on request.
Participants: The Pass 2012 is open to students of classes LKG to Std. X of any schools in Qatar.
Time: 8:00am to 1:00 PM
